My Call to Full-Time Missions

After nearly 25 years of pastoral ministry, I’m transitioning to a new ministry role as Senior VP of Global Opportunities with Biblical Ministries Worldwide (BMW), based here in Atlanta. My burden for missions has steadily grown over the last 12 years. Now, in God’s providence, my new job is to champion the cause of the Great Commission wherever and however I can: writing, recruiting missionaries, consulting and networking with pastors and churches, leading vision trips, and especially preaching and teaching in churches, camps, conferences, colleges, and seminaries.

You can learn more from BMW’s official announcement. I’m thrilled to make the great work of missions my primary calling!

You may wonder what this transition means for Church Works Media. I’m anticipating that my writing opportunities will significantly increase. In addition to more hymns and devotionals, we’ll be adding to our growing catalogue of missions-focused resources, joining Gospel Meditations for MissionsThe God Who SatisfiesDaring Devotion, and The Life of David Brainerd. Thankfully, Paul Keew will continue to run day-to-day operations for CMW, as well. We’re thrilled about the future of this important ministry! As always, we appreciate your partnership. Please pray about making a generous year-end gift to CWM here.

With my new missions role, I’m more available than ever for speaking engagements. “Have Bible—Will Travel.” If I can serve your ministry by teaching or preaching on missions, worship, or any other biblical topic, please reach out to me at chris@biblicalministries.org.

Please pray with us about this new season of ministry!

For the Sake of His Name,

Chris
