James Koerts

James Koerts serves as the worship pastor of Mikado Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia. He is involved in the planning and leadership of the weekly worship as well as overseeing and directing various vocal and instrumental groups.

Having served in church nearly all of his life, James has a deep passion for the local church. He enjoys bringing people into the presence of God through his keyboard artistry and congregational worship. A published arranger, James has written extensively for choir and solo piano.

James, and his wife, Beth, live near Macon and have three young children: Michael, Katelyn and Daniel. Together, James and Beth enjoy leading and serving in their church’s newlywed Bible class.
